Our reports are a core product of the IEA Clean Coal Centre. The reports cover every aspect of the coal chain from mining through to combustion, emissions control, economic and policy studies. Each report is a comprehensive literature review with expert analysis.
Most of the reports are about 30,000 words long and use material from over 100 references as well as information obtained from conferences and workshops attended by the authors, and gleaned from their contacts. The subjects for review are selected by the Executive Committee at its twice yearly meetings, which means that the reports are always topical. We publish about 15 reports every year
From 1 January 2013, our reports are available as free downloads for residents of member countries or employees of sponsoring organisations. Six months after publication reports are freely available to all. Non-members can purchase reports for £100 in the first 6 months after publication from the bookshop. Everyone wishing to obtain a report must be registered with the IEA Clean Centre before proceeding with the download. Registrants will be notified by email when their registration is accepted (normally within one working day). Registration form.
The Annual Review is published each February. It is a useful summary of our achievements of the previous year. The Review is available to download, or a hard copy can be requested from Alvina at Alvina.Board@iea-coal.org.
